Registration Opens for Fifth Course in the Life Cycle of an Account Series - 03/2/10
The fifth course in the Life Cycle of an Account series — BLCA 240 – Account Management Day-to-Day Tasks — has opened for enrollment.
The two-hour course will cover appropriate backup documentation, resources for determining if a transaction is allowable, and the records retention schedule. The course will rely heavily on examples and case studies designed to engage the audience in discussion and enable practical application of the information presented.
Tammy Emilson, director of financial affairs for the College of Science; and Cheryl Westlund, public records administrator for the Director of Business Managers Department, will instruct.
The class will be presented twice. The first meeting will be 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday, March 17. It will be repeated 2-4 pm. Tuesday, March 23. Both classes will meet in Lawson Computer Science Building, Room 1142.
Employees interested in taking the course should work with their supervisors or training coordinators to determine whether they need to attend.
Online self-enrollment through PREMIS is available to staff members with their Purdue career account and password.
