Note Time Correction for ‘Travel Basic Skills’ Class - 04/6/10
The meeting time published last week for “BTRVL100—Travel Basic Skills” training, scheduled for Thursday, April 15, was inaccurate. The correct time is 8:15 a.m. to noon. The class will meet in Freehafer 1-2.
Online self-enrollment for the class is available through PREMIS. After logging in with their Purdue career account and password, registrants can access BTRVL100 by clicking “Business Systems,” then “Travel.”
BTRVL100 course content covers the basic skills any University employee would need to know when traveling on University business – both domestic and foreign. The instructor will touch on information that includes: approval processes, reimbursement, transportation regulations, lodging, subsistence, registrations, required receipts, discounts and online tools. The transportation discussion will include how to rent a University vehicle. (Please note that this training is not about the new OnePurdue travel system.)
Questions and comments about the course may be directed to Linda Ford, disbursements manager, Accounts Payable and Travel, 494-1699. The Transportation Services contact is Connie Miller or Mike Utermark.
