New Introduction to Personal Payments Course Available in Blackboard - 03/25/10
Online registration has opened for “BTAX100—Introduction to Personal Payments,” a newly created Web course geared for staff members who handle personal payments at Purdue.
BTAX100 provides an overview of the types of payments Purdue University makes to individuals and the forms involved. Specific topics covered include:
• Reimbursements and refunds
• Human subject compensation
• Awards and prizes
The online course is available through Blackboard. Staff may self-enroll through PREMIS with their career account and password. After logging in, registrants will click “Business,” “Accounting” and “BTAX100.” Then follow the directions to complete the enrollment process. Within 24 hours after enrolling, registrants will find BTAX100 added to their Blackboard course list.
Completion of “BAP100—Introduction to Accounts Payable,” also offered through Blackboard, is recommended prior to taking BTAX100.
Log-in portals to both PREMIS and Blackboard’s “Purdue Non-Academic Campus” can be accessed from the Business Services Training and Communications Web page.
