Instructor-Led ‘Travel Basic Skills’ Course Offered This Month - 08/3/10
The instructor-led “BTRVL 100 – Travel Basic Skills” training has opened for online self-registration.
The class is scheduled for 1:15-5 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 18 in Freehafer 2-1.
“BTRVL 100” course content covers the basic skills any Purdue employee would need when traveling on University business – both domestic and foreign.
The instructor will touch on information that includes: approval processes, reimbursement, transportation regulations, lodging, subsistence, registrations, required receipts, discounts and online tools. The transportation discussion will include how to rent a University vehicle. Please note that this training is not about the new OnePurdue travel system.
Online self-enrollment for “BTRVL 100” is available to staff members through PREMIS with their Purdue career account and password. After logging into the self-enrollment site, registrants must click “Business Systems” and “Travel,” then select “BTRVL 100 – Travel Basic Skills” and follow the instructions.
