Registration Open for Course No. 6 in the Life Cycle of an Account Series - 03/30/10
The sixth course in the “Life Cycle of an Account—Pre-award Through Closeout” series, “BLCA 250–Signature Delegation,” is open for enrollment.
The two-hour course is designed for business office or departmental staff who handle purchasing or travel and review documents for purchasing or travel. In addition, any staff member interested in the signature delegation process may attend.
The course content will assist participants understand: signature delegation and its dual role, which forms business staff are authorized to sign, how to audit a document before signing, the definitions of “allowable,” “allocable” and “reasonable,” and document routing.
The class will be taught by Director of Business Managers Lucia Anderson, 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, April 13 in Room 3058 of Rawls Hall, 100 S. Grant St. She will repeat the training 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, April 27 in Room 1142 of Lawson Computer Science Building, 305 N. University St. Attendance at only one of these sessions is necessary.
Staff members interested in the course are advised to work with their supervisors or training coordinators in determining whether they need to attend.
Online self-enrollment through PREMIS is available to staff members with their Purdue career account and password. To access “BLCA 250–Signature Delegation” after logging in, click “Business Systems,” then “Life Cycle of an Account.” Updated course materials will be added to the Life Cycle of an Account page of the Business Services Training and Communications prior to the training.
