Collections, Disbursements and Accounts Receivable Course Added - 03/8/11

“BCDAR 210 — Collections, Disbursements and Accounts Receivable” has opened for enrollment.

The new two-part course provides participants with hands-on experience with:
     • Accounts receivable master data
     • Charge entering and posting
     • Reconciling charges entered
     • Document numbers
     • Customer account balances
     • Reporting in the Public Sector Collections Disbursement (PSCD) module
     • Reviewing business partner account balances
     • Locating PSCD and GL document numbers
     • Requesting reports

“BCDAR 210,” previously named “PSCD 210,” builds on the fundamentals outlined in “BCDAR 100.” Completion of “BCDAR 100” is required for all staff who enroll in “BCDAR 210.”

Anyone who has completed “PSCD 210” need not take “BCDAR 210.”

“BCDAR 210,” Part 1, meets 8:30 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, March 29; Part 2 meets 1:30-5 p.m., Thursday, March 31. Both sessions are held in the ITaP Training Room on the second floor of Freehafer Hall. Edie Doland is teaching.

Participants must attend both parts, 1 and 2.

To ensure a seat in Part 1 and Part 2, please enroll by following these steps:
      1. Click BCDAR 210 - Collections, Disbursement and Accounts Receivable PART I  (also available from the Business Services Training Calendar) to open Training Registration site.
     2. Click “Add to Cart.”
     3. Click “Checkout.”
     4. Sign in with Purdue career account and password.
     5. Verify that the registration information that displays is correct and click “Submit.”
     6. Verify that the section that displays is correct and click “Process Registration” to complete the registration.
