SPS Reminds Staff of Changes to NIH Application Form and Instructions - 12/17/09

Sponsored Program Services reminds business office staff who prepare proposals that beginning Jan. 25 the National Institute of Health (NIH) will use a new application form and instructions. 

The following information is intended as a simple reference for determining which forms to use for upcoming submissions.

     Any Non-AIDS Application
      Due Before Jan. 24, 2010
          Electronic Grants.gov: Adobe Forms-A
          PHS 398 Forms: PHS 11/07 version
     Due Jan. 25, 2010, or After
          Electronic Grants.gov: Adobe Forms-B
          PHS 398 Forms: PHS 06/09 version

     AIDS Application
     Due Before Feb. 6, 2010
          Electronic Grants.gov: Adobe Forms-A
          PHS 398 Forms: PHS 11/07 version
     Due Feb. 7, 2010, or After
          Electronic Grants.gov: Adobe Forms-B
          PHS 398 Forms: PHS 06/09 version
