Trends and Activity of SPS Accounts Available Online - 11/3/09

Inquiry into Sponsored Program Services (SPS) activity for proposals, awards and expenditures by college/unit, fiscal year and department is available from the SPS Web site by clicking “Trends in SPS” located under the “Data” gold tab. Further drill down to record level information can also be accessed for awards, according to SPS.

Static pages summarized by college/unit or campus appear first on the page. Further down on the page under Departmental Activity are links to the inquiry by college/unit, fiscal year and department. Trend data by month and year either in table form or graphical form are also available. 

Due to differences in the data, there is a separate submit screen and resulting pages for historical data prior to February 2007. Historical data are available from July 1, 2000, to Jan. 31, 2007.          

The query tool is relatively intuitive, but additional instructions, “Sponsored Program Activity by College/Department Web Tool Documentation,” can be found on the SPS Web site under the “Data” gold tab.
