SPS Offers Tips for Submitting to Grants.gov - 03/24/09
Sponsored Program Services reminds business offices of specific concerns to be aware of when working on proposals to be submitted through Grants.gov.
As of March 3, 2009, all agencies are posting and accepting only Adobe applications. PureEdge applications no longer are in use. The content in old .xfd packages received from faculty members must be transferred to an updated Adobe package before submission.
Unless otherwise stated in the guidelines, all attachments should be in a .pdf format. Additionally, attachments’ names can be no longer than 50 characters.
Please avoid using spaces or special characters (such as -, &, *,%, /,#) in file names. If the file name of an attachment requires spaces, use the underscore (example: my_Attached_file.pdf).
Grants.gov’s compatible versions of Adobe are currently: 8.1.1, 8.1.2, 8.1.3, and 9.0.
