HR: Wait 30 Days to Rehire Incentive Retirees for Temporary Jobs - 01/4/11
Human Resources cautions business offices about rehiring participants in the Purdue Retirement Incentive Program.
Individuals receiving the incentive benefits have agreed to a break in all employment with the University for at least 30 days after retirement, according to the terms of the program.
While retirement incentive program participants are no longer eligible for a regular-benefits-eligible position, they may accept temporary assignments after 30 days.
Questions about the Retirement Incentive Program may be directed to email@example.com. More information about the Purdue Retirement Incentive Program is available on the Questions and Answers page of the Vice President for Human Resources website.
