HRS Reorganizes Leaves Processing - 02/26/09
To provide better leaves management support for improved customer service, Human Resource Services will establish the Leave Processing Center in the Shared Services Center to process, review and approve employee leaves.
Effective March 1, the SSC Leaves Processing Center will coordinate various processing actions that were formerly handled by Employee Relations, Staff Benefits and the Shared Services Center.
Staff Benefits will provide overall leave policy administration, including policy review, revision, interpretation and approval of any exceptions. It will work closely with the Leave Processing Center to manage various leave situations and coordinate benefit-related programs associated with leaves (i.e. Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Worker’s Compensation and Return-to-Work programs).
