Human Resources Offers Tips about FMLA - 01/26/12
FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) is an employee’s right to a job-protected leave.
Human Resources reminds University personnel that FMLA paperwork can be requested by an employee, or by the employee’s supervisor, whenever more than three consecutive, full calendar days have been missed and the employee meets the requirements of the FMLA policy.
For information about the FMLA, please visit the Purdue University Policies website and click “HR” at the top to get to the Human Resources Policies page. There, scroll down to the “Leaves of Absence” header, and below it click Family and Medical Leave Act (VI.E.1).
