Request for Privileges System Available Online - 01/20/11

A newly developed Web-based Request for Privileges system, which replaces the current paper process, is in production.

Staff can access the “Guidelines for Providing Privileges to Designated University Resources” document by clicking Request for Privileges (R4P) Guidelines on the HR Operations Resources Web page.

HR asks that staff no longer submit the Request for Privileges paper form.

Instructions on how to use the new system are available on the Request for Privileges Application (R4P) Documentation page of the Human Resources website. Information found there includes:

• Frequently Asked Questions
• Web Template Request for Privileges

University employees can access the system by entering their Purdue career account and password into the system log-in site.

As new organizational units are added, HR Operations staff will contact the appropriate people to establish approvers for affected areas.
