Employee Group Clarified - 11/4/08
Human Resource Services fields numerous calls and email from staff seeking clarification about employee categories, particularly the more recently added operations/technical group.
Operations/technical is part of the administrative/professional employee group category, which also includes administrative/professional and management/professional staff members.
All of these groups are entitled to the same leave benefits and accruals, and anyone in any of these groups may participate in Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee (APSAC).

Employees who still have questions concerning their group may want to speak with their supervisor or their Business Office or HR reps.
