Employees Should Expect Tax Rate Change for 10 Indiana Counties - 10/29/09
The new income tax rates for 10 Indiana counties will go into effect for Purdue employees beginning with their next paycheck.
Monthly employees should see the change on their Oct. 30 paycheck, and biweekly employees should see it on their Nov. 4 check.
The tax will be calculated with a retroactive adjustment back to Oct. 1, 2009.
The 10 Indiana counties that have changed their rates are Bartholomew, Carroll, Grant, Hancock, Lawrence, Monroe, Parke, Posey, St. Joseph and Wabash.
A listing of the new county tax rates for Indiana is available on the Tax Department Web site, where a listing of all current federal, state and county tax rates can be found.
