HR Advises Op/Tech Employees on How to Record Time Spent as ‘Read to Succeed’ Volunteers - 10/2/12

Operations/technical (op/tech) employees should record the hours they spend as participants in the Read to Succeed initiative as “other leave with pay,” according to Human Resources.

Other employees should check with their supervisors for how to record their time.

“Read to Succeed” is an initiative led by United Way-Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and local community school corporations. It helps ensure the academic success of the area’s elementary school-aged students by pairing them with adult mentors for one hour a week during school hours for the 2012-13 academic year.
