Enter Absences for Temporary AP Positions on University Holiday Dates - 06/24/10

Payroll reminds business offices that ABUP absences (approved unpaid time off) for employees in temporary AP positions should be entered on University holiday dates.

Such positions are not eligible for holiday pay. However, as salaried positions, they need to have an unpaid absence recorded in CATS to prevent the holiday from being paid. 

The next occurrence for which ABUP should be used is Monday, July 5.
