University Tax Office Urges Staff to Update Home Addresses in ESS - 12/10/09

In preparation for the distribution of 2009 W-2 forms to Purdue employees, the University Tax Office urges all employees to review their home addresses in Employee Self-Service (ESS) by Dec. 31.

All W-2s will be mailed in January 2010, and a current address will help ensure prompt delivery.

ESS is accessible to employees with their Career Account and password after logging into the OnePurdue Portal. A link to the Portal can be found in the lower right corner of the Purdue home page.

Employees can update their addresses online through ESS. Instructions for accessing ESS can be found in the Employee Self-Service Navigation QRC (Quick Reference card) on the Human Resources and Employee Self-Service QRCs page located on the OnePurdue Web site. Then click the link for Home Address and Phone.

For terminated employees, the business offices should email the updated address to the Shared Service Center. For security purposes, emails directly from terminated employees will not be accepted. A Form 13 may also be submitted by the terminated employee.

PLEASE NOTE:
-- Undergraduate students
employed by Purdue need to make sure their permanent address is correct in Banner, and that system will update their record in SAP.
-- Graduate students employed by Purdue need to update their address through ESS or by submitting a Form 13.
