SAP System Unavailable This Weekend for Annual SAP Upgrade - 12/6/12
The annual upgrade of the production SAP system (HR, Payroll, Finance, Procurement, and Business Warehouse) begins at 6 p.m. (EST) Friday, Dec. 7, and runs through 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10. During these hours, the SAP system will be down and unavailable to Purdue staff.
All production systems will be restored and available again by 8 a.m. (EST) Monday, Dec. 10.
Because the weekend work is on a fairly tight schedule, the IT team asks University staff to log out of the SAP system well before 6 p.m. (EST) Friday.
The team also reminds staff not to attempt logging into the SAP system between 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday. Even if the system appears to be operational during this time, the upgrade will be in progress.
