Monthly Book Club Open to New Members - 08/26/10
The Great Reads in Leadership Book Club always welcomes new participants. The group meets twice monthly during the lunch hour in Freehafer to discuss a preselected book on a leadership topic.
The book for September is “Our Iceberg Is Melting” by John Kotter. It is based on pioneering work that shows how eight steps can produce needed change in any sort of group. Meetings are scheduled for noon to 1 p.m., Wednesdays, Sept. 22 and 29. Loaner copies of “Our Iceberg Is Melting” are available as needed.
Participants must preregister via the Online Training Registration website, where they can log in with their Purdue career account and password. Once logged in, select “Training and Development Courses,” “All Faculty and Staff,” and then scroll down to select the Great Reads in Leadership Book Club session of choice.
For more information, please contact the group’s facilitator, Bill Lovell, of Human Resources.
