Monthly Book Club Open to New Members - 08/3/10
The Great Reads in Leadership Book Club always welcomes new participants. The group meets twice monthly, noon-1 p.m. in Freehafer to discuss a preselected book on a leadership topic. Loaner copies of the books are available as needed.
Participants must preregister via the Online Training Registration website, where they can log in with their Purdue career account and password. Once logged in, select “Training and Development Courses,” “All Faculty and Staff,” and then scroll down to select the Great Reads in Leadership Book Club session of choice.
The book for August is “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.” Meetings are scheduled for Aug. 20 and Aug. 27.
For more information, please contact the group’s facilitator, Bill Lovell, of Human Resources.
“There’s no better way to inform and expand your mind on a regular basis than to get into the habit of reading good literature,” he says.
