Home Hospital Emergency Room to Close and Move Late February - 02/9/10
West Lafayette campus employees and supervisors need to be aware that Home Hospital’s Emergency Department will close at 11 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23 for its move to the new St. Elizabeth East hospital.
The St. Elizabeth East Emergency Care Center, 1701 S. Creasy Lane in Lafayette, will open at 7 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25.
If a Workers’ Compensation situation requires emergency room services during the 32-hour transition period, Purdue employees can use the emergency room at St. Elizabeth Central on Hartford Street or Clarian Arnett on McCarty Lane.
When Home Hospital Emergency Department’s move is complete, Lafayette will have three full-service emergency facilities – St. Elizabeth Central, St. Elizabeth East, and Clarian Arnett.
Please use the Clarian Arnett Occupational Health and ROCC facilities (or urgent care centers if outside of operating hours for these facilities) for treatment that does not require emergency room level care.
