Registration Open for Course No. 2 in Policy Training Series - 10/9/08
The second offering in the series of training sessions – Policy Training Program for the Lifecycle of an Account: Pre-award Through Closeout – is open for registration.
The course, "Pre-award," is designed for any Business Office and Sponsored Program Services (SPS) staff members who deal with sponsored programs. It will be held 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 in Lynn 1136, and will be repeated 10 a.m.-noon Friday, Oct. 31 in Phys. 114. Participants need attend only one session.
The course will focus on why certain processes are followed when developing a proposal, including five main areas: Non-cost/Budget Issues, Cost Identification, Facilities and Administration, Cost Sharing, and Mission/Metrics/Roles.

The training is sponsored by Director of Business Managers Lucia Anderson, Comptroller John Shipley, and Director of Sponsored Programs Mike Ludwig.
