Required-on Date in the Past in SRM No Longer Retriggers Workflow - 10/16/12
Procurement Services advises that a “required-on” date in the past no longer requires a change by the approver. SRM will automatically update the “required-on” date to three business days past the current date.
This change in SRM became effective Oct. 9, and it is reflected in the updated Workflow Overview document.
As an example, if a shopping cart has a “required-on” date of Oct. 1, 2012, and the approver tries to approve the shopping cart today, Oct. 16, 2012, the “required-on” will update to Oct. 19, 2012. Weekends and holidays are not included in the three business-day update.
