Re: Delegation of Authority and Responsibility to Members of the Staff of the Vice President and Treasurer


The following specific assignments of administrative authority and responsibility are hereby delegated to each member of the staff of the Office of the Vice President and Treasurer to assist and act for the Vice President and Treasurer.

BUSINESS MANAGER AND ASSISTANT TREASURER

 

  1. For the University:

     

    1. Administrative Data Processing
    2. Fiscal Management and Control
    3. Personnel Administration
    4. Purchasing
    5. Real Estate
    6. Contract and Lease Administration
    7. Legislative Fiscal Relations
    8. In the absence of the Treasurer, perform any other duties as prescribed by the Bylaws of the Board of Trustees of Purdue University.

       

  2. For the Lafayette Campus:

     

     

    1. Edward C. Elliott Hall of Music, Loeb Playhouse and Slayter Center for Performing Arts
    2. Emergency Operations

       

  3. For the Regional Campuses:
    1.  

    2. Physical Plant Operations
      1. Buildings and Grounds Maintenance
      2. Utilities
      3. Safety and Security, including parking program and key control
      4. Switchboard Operations

         

DIRECTOR OF PHYSICAL PLANT

    3. Development and Dissemination of General Policies for Physical Plant Operations
    4. Advisory Service to Regional Campus Physical Plant Departments, concerning operations and budgeting, and submittal of periodic performance evaluations of the Regional Campus Physical Plant Departments to the Vice President and Treasurer.
