Re: Executive Memorandum No. B-17, dated 21 March 1980 -- Summary of Policies and Regulations Relating to Faculty, Administrative, and Professional Staff Vacations
Those outlined to you in my unnumbered memorandum dated 12 November 1979 and approved by the Board of Trustees at its November meeting.
Those approved by the Board of Trustees at its meeting today. A new section has been added under B.6 providing for the payment of accrued vacation for fiscal year staff up to a maximum of 44 days at time of retirement or death.
Item B.7 has been changed to include the payment of accrued vacation available at termination, retirement, or death in a lump sum in the employee's final paycheck. Previously, this section included only payment at termination.
Questions concerning these changes should be directed to the Budget Office on the West Lafayette Campus and to the Chief Business Officer at the Regional Campuses.
