Re: Delegation of Authority and Responsibility for Signing University Contracts and Agreements

In accordance with the By-Laws of the Board of Trustees of the University, as amended 16 September 1964, the following delegation of authority and responsibility for signing the types of University contracts and agreements listed below is hereby made by the President and the Vice President and Treasurer:

Contracts and agreements directly related to intercollegiate athletics	Director of Intercollegiate and Intramural Athletics
Agreements for use of athletic facilities	Director of Intercollegiate and Intramural Athletics
Contracts and agreements for performers for Victory Varieties	Chairman of Victory Varieties Committee
Contracts and agreements for per- formers for convocations and lectures	Chairman of Convocations and Public Lectures Committee
Agreements for use of Hall of Music and Loeb Playhouse by non-University personnel	Director of the Hall of Music
Agreements for purchase of on-campus computer services	Contract Administrator
Standard agreement forms for AES research	Contract Administrator
Agreement for Student Health Service dietary contract	Executive Assistant tothe Director of Student Health Services
Contracts and agreements for Student Organizations	Auditor of Student Organizations and those delegated this authority and responsibility by the auditor of Student Organizations
Agreements for preparation of high school and other educational tests	Vice President and Executive Dean
Agreement for public school surveys	Vice President for Academic Affairs
Agreement for purchase of extension computer services	Directors of the regional campuses and/or extension centers
Residence Halls room and/or board contractual agreements	Men's Residence Halls Director Assistant Director and Director of Food and Housekeeping Women's Residence Halls Director, Assistant Director and Director of Food and Housekeeping
Apartmental rental leases	Family Housing Director, Assistant Director and Assistant to the Director
Graduate House agreements for:   Room rentals; movie film rentals;   display of art exhibits; and dance   bands and other entertainers for   functions arranged for residents   and guests of Graduate House	Graduate House Manager and Assistant Manager
Purdue Memorial Union agreements for:   Food service and catering events;   services and facilities with conference   groups or conferenceexhibitors;   functions sponsored by Purdue Memorial Union   or the Student Union Board; and display of art exhibits	Purdue Memorial Union - Director, Associate Directors, Assistant Directors, Food Director, and Catering Manager

All contracts and agreements signed under the above delegation of authority and responsibility will conform to the general policies of the Board of Trustees. Copies of all contracts and agreements so signed shall be filed with the Vice President and Treasurer of the University.

Contracts and agreements not coming within the above delegation of authority and responsibility shall be referred to the Vice President and Treasurer for processing and signature.
