Re: Temperature Controls in University Buildings
President Hansen has asked me to announce that the University will comply with President Nixon's fuel saving policies. Therefore, the Physical Plant Department has been directed to reset thermostats at 68 degrees immediately. In those buildings without thermostat controls, staff members are asked to comply by regulating radiators so a 68 degree temperature can be maintained.
If there are general questions or any unique problems that would be caused by lower temperatures in your area, please call Mr. W. E. Ahlers, Director of Engineering and Utilities, Telephone No. 749-6152.
