In accordance with the Bylaws of The Trustees of Purdue University, as amended, the attached delegation of authority and responsibility for signing and filing University contracts (or agreements in any form) is made by the President and the Vice President and Treasurer (Contracts and agreements to be filed with the person delegated the approving responsibility unless otherwise indicated).
All contracts and agreements signed under the delegation of authority and responsibility will conform to the general policies as prescribed by law, by the Board, or by the Bylaws of The Trustees of Purdue University. Copies of all contracts and agreements so signed shall be filed and retained until the Vice President and Treasurer authorizes destruction. All contracts involving Federal funds on a direct or sub-contract basis must be cleared in advance of consummation with the Office of Contract Administration Contracts and agreements executed by Regional Campus Business Managers should not exceed $2,000 or one year in duration.
The Vice President and Treasurer must be informed of and must specifically approve any substantial changes or unusual provisions in contractual arrangements.
Contracts and agreements not coming within the above delegation of authority and responsibility shall be referred to the Vice President and Treasurer for processing and signature.
