MEMORANDUM NO. A-11

Re: Delegation of Authority and Responsibility for Signing University Contracts at Regional Campuses
In addition to that previously delegated in Vice President and Treasurer Memorandum-No. A-11 and in accordance with the Bylaws of the Board of Trustees of the University, as amended 16 September 1964, the following delegation of authority and responsibility for signing and filing University contracts (or agreements in any form) is hereby made by the President and the Vice President and Treasurer to the Business Manager of each Regional Campus.
Contracts and agreements which bind the University for less than one year in time and no more than $1,000 in financial obligations are as follows:
- Rental of facilities for intramural and intercollegiate athletics.
- Rental of facilities for or agreements with convocations and lecture performers.
- Rental of facilities for or agreements with Professional Theatre performers.
- Agreements with local schools or agencies for utilization of space for Purdue University - credit or non-credit classes.
- Nursing agreements with area hospitals.
- Rental of facilities for commencement exercises or other academic ceremonies.
- Work study agreements with outside agencies.
It is understood that all agreements signed under the above delegation of authority and responsibility will conform to the general policies of the University.
Copies of all contracts and agreements so signed shall be filed with the Contract Administrator of the University and the Office of the Director of Regional Campus Business Affairs.
Contracts and agreements not coming within the above delegation of authority and responsibility will be forwarded to the Director of Regional Campus Business Affairs for processing to the Vice President and Treasurer for approval.
All other conditions of Memorandum No. A-11 are applicable.
