The plan offers an alternative way to ease the burden of having to make one payment each semester. Persons wanting to participate in the plan should enroll online at myPurdue. Participants will be charged 1.5% on the amount of fees deferred per semester. Twenty-five percent of the amount due for tuition and fees must be paid by the payment due date provided. The remaining fees (amount deferred) will be paid in up to three equal amounts over the course of the semester. This plan is available for paying your tuition and fees, and contracted housing charges.
How does the Installment Plan Work?
1) Students who would like to participate in the plan should enroll online at myPurdue. Terms available for the plan will be provided at the time that the enrollment occurs.
2) A finance charge of 1.5% of the amount deferred is required for each semester to participate in the Installment Plan.
3) Twenty-five percent (25%) of the amount due for tuition and fees and contracted housing charges must be paid by the payment due dates provided at the time of enrollment. The remaining fees, plus a 1.5% finance charge, will be paid in equal amounts over the course of the semester.
4) The initial 25% payment will need to be submitted online to enroll in the plan. Each subsequent installment should be paid by the due dates provided. As a convenience, participants may choose to schedule each installment payment in advance.
Installment Plan Terms and Conditions
Twenty-five percent (25%) of the amount due for tuition and fees plus any contracted university housing charges must be paid to enroll in the installment plan. The remaining fees, plus a 1.5% finance charge, will be paid in equal amounts over the course of the semester. If installment plan fees are not paid by the due date, a $17.50 late fee will be assessed.
How do I sign up for the Installment Plan?
To sign up for the installment plan:
1. Log on to your myPurdue account
2. Select the "Financial" tab
3. Click on "Manage My Account"
4. Select "Payment Plans"
5. Click on "Sign up for a new Payment Plan"
