Pest Control is responsible for providing an environment as free as possible from insect and animal pests, indigenous and non indigenous to central Indiana. With our diverse population that travels from all parts of the world to attend Purdue, some pests can be brought in from other areas that are not native to this area.

Pest Control is staffed by certified pest control technicians using the latest technology and techniques. They provide service to all academic buildings, Housing and Food Service, Athletics, and Purdue Research Foundation as well as the Purdue Airport.

Most of the work is planned maintenance, but the staff is available 24/7 for any emergency that may arise requiring their specialized skills. They also work in conjunction with Purdue's Department of Agriculture and the Indiana State Chemist's Office when the need arises.
