Purdue Refuse and Recycling also provides the following services to the West Lafayette Campus:

1. Extra Recycling cart for Office Clean out
2. Confidential Destruction Program (PDF)
3. Trash containers for special functions and events

There is no charge for extra recycling carts. This is recommended in lieu of removing the ones in the loading docks areas. For Departmental clean outs we can provide containers from 15 cubic yards to as large as 40 cubic yards. For outdoor events we can provide metal trash barrels. Submit an 18A for these services and for the time/date of delivery and pickup of the containers.

There is an $.11/pound charge for document destruction. For additional information on this please review the Confidential Destruction Program policy letter.

If you need trash container(s) for special functions and events, you will need to submit an 18A to the work control center or an electronic work request if you have access to EWOTS or call the work control center at 494-9999. Please provide the following information on the work request:

• Contact Person
• Telephone Number
• Department
• Type of containers needed
• Number of containers needed
• When containers need to be set up
• When containers can be removed.
