In an effort to provide enhanced customer service, Purdue's Physical Facilities offers: The Building Advocate Program. This program links individual Physical Facilities A/P staff members with identified buildings to resolve issues and break down and remove any barriers to the seamless delivery of Physical Facilities services. The Building Advocate will work with Building staff to achieve the following goals:

Resolve issues in a professional and timely manner by acting as the single source contact between departments and Physical Facilities units.
Influence and initiate positive action by removing obstacles.
Communicate and coordinate with both Physical Facilities and our customers to enhance Purdue's mission of teaching, research, and public service in support of students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Building Advocates Duties:
Schedule an initial walk through and define out stewardship role.
During the walk through, record incidental repairs needed in public areas.
Completed forms should be sent to Dave Lucas in PFSB for prioritization.
Schedule follow up walk throughs to regularly assess the condition of assigned buildings
