Process for Requesting Access to a Website
- The web publisher should fill out the Web Account Request Form. Once form is submitted it is sent to the Web Designer/Developer. The Web Coordinator/Developer will be keeping track of all web account request for Business Services.
- The Web Coordinator/Developer will review the request to verify that appropriate departmental approval was received.
- Once the Web Coordinator/Developer has approved the request, the request will be forwared to the ITaP Web-Admin's Group.
- Once account has been created, the Web Coordinator/Developer will send the web publisher an email stating that they now have access to the account they requested and to schedule training as appropriate. The ITaP Web-Admin's group should also give the Web Coordinator/Developer access to new accounts on the Purdue Web Cluster for purposes to be able to serve as the global backup for all Business Services Web Publishers.
- The Web Coordinator/Developer is to keep track of all accounts by updating the Business Services Web Accounts Database.
