Trademarks and Licensing

Part of maintaining the Purdue brand is working to protect and promote the use of our University name and logos. The Office of Trademarks and Licensing works to promote Purdue through trademarks and promotional items.

Why buy licensed products

  • Support student scholarships: Almost $1million in royalties from Purdue branded products are annually deposited into the University’s general and Athletics scholarship funds.
  • Ensures social responsibility: All licensees are members of the Fair Labor Association and adhere to its code of conduct.
  • Enhanced customer service: Licensed vendors have an established, contractual business relationship with the University.
  • Meet Purdue’s brand standards: All artwork is reviewed and given approval by the University, prior to production.
