Kelsey Quin was appointed to the Purdue Board of Trustees by Governor Mike Pence on July 1, 2013 and will serve a two-year term as the student trustee.  Kelsey is a junior majoring in Health Sciences, Pre-Professional (Pre-Medicine Concentration), with minors in Organizational Leadership and Supervision, Biology and Psychology.  

Quin has participated in the President’s Leadership Class as both a class member and a sophomore advisor.  She is also a member of the Purdue Student Government and Purdue Caduceus Club, through which she participated in a medical mission trip in December of 2012.  Quin was also a member of the Purdue Summer in Florence study abroad class of 2012.

Quin grew up in Peru, Indiana, with her three brothers, Colin, Connor, and Keegan, and her parents, Greg and Terry Quin. Kelsey joined the Peru Amateur Circus at 4 years old as a kiddy clown and began performing at age 7.  She also participated in soccer, track, cross country, basketball, and many various leadership and academic opportunities.  In 2011, Kelsey was named the Distinguished Young Woman of Indiana.
