New Boilermakers featured monthly

Renee Studt

I grew up a Boilermaker.

I dressed up as a Purdue cheerleader for my first Halloween, my parents used to sing "Hail Purdue" to me for my bedtime lullaby and some of my earliest memories include tailgating at Purdue football games with my whole family.

My love for Purdue started at a young age and has only grown stronger with my time here, especially after I realized all of the opportunities to get involved.

I decided to continue my passion for running that I developed in high school by joining Purdue's cross-country and track teams. As a student-athlete, I have learned many lifelong skills while also making many incredible friends.

The opportunities to be involved don't stop there. As a mentor for the Krannert Leadership Development program, I will have the opportunity to positively impact two incoming freshmen by providing guidance and advice while also sharing my long-held love for Purdue. After all, Purdue is all about learning and growing in and outside the classroom.
