Nikhil Butala

Nikhil Butala received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pune, India in 2001 and his MS in Mechnical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 2003. His Masters project involved fabricating the first prototype of a Biomedical Device and was titled " An Actuated Cochlear Implant Insertion Tool". Before joining Krannert, Nikhil worked for 3 years at the Engineering Research Centre in TATA Motors Ltd. , India largest automobile company. His interests include the use of Micro and Nanotechnology in fabricating micro-devices used in biomedical applications.
