Ms. Jewell is the Purdue University Black Cultural Center’s Administrative Assistant. As the Administrative Assistant, she assists the Director in all aspects of program administration including special events. Linda has been a member of the Black Cultural Center staff since August 2007.

She has been with Purdue University since 2001 and completed the Purdue University 2 year ACE program (Accomplished Clerical Excellence) in 2006. She has lived in the Lafayette/West Lafayette area for many years and has raised 3 children and is blessed with 5 grandchildren. She loves to oil paint, do charcoal portraits (mostly of the grandchildren), design and sew clothing as well as knit sweaters in her spare time.
