Black Cultural Center Library

The Black Cultural Center Library is Purdue's premiere source for knowledge on African-American culture and experience. The library is ideal for individual and group research. The collection holds more than 7,000 titles including books by Orlando Patterson, Barack Obama and Margaret Walker. There is also a strong multimedia collection including The Boondocks seasons 1-3 on DVD, Donnie McClurkin Live on CD and 'Intervals' by Ahmad Jamal on LP.

The library is elegantly decorated with the faces of renowned Black artists and scholars from past and present. Patrons can enjoy the public reading area or reserve one of the three private study rooms. Librarians and assistants at the BCC Library are always engaging, helpful and welcoming during every visit.
