Prior to her position at the Black Cultural Center, Lisa Sultemeier served in key leadership roles in the areas of finance, academics, administration and student affairs at a private college in Jackson, Miss. She also served as a committee member for marketing and recruiting.

Sultemeier's creativity and versatility has enabled her to organize social gatherings ranging from intimate receptions, fundraising galas, corporate meetings and lavish events for both the nonprofit and public sector. She is continuing her studies at Purdue, focusing on nonprofit administration.

"I look forward to helping Purdue and especially its students achieve greater success," Sultemeier says.
