Remembering the Harlem Renaissance

    The BCC Performing Arts Ensembles will collaborate and celebrate the legacy of the Harlem Renaissance by fusing together song, dance, drama and spoken word in an exciting performance. Admission: $5/Purdue students, $7/general public.

    Nous Quatre a Paris by Palmer Hayden Immediately following Cultural Arts Festival

    A benefit modeled after the informal Harlem gatherings of the 1930’s when Harlem Renaissance tenants who needed rent money would throw parties. The BCC will keep the tradition of “raising the rent” and donate proceeds to a local charity. Share in the music, dancing, card playing and fun. Admission: $5.
