The August Wilson Song Book
Fowler Hall, Stewart Center 7:00pm
Conceived by Ladrica Menson-Furr and Ekundayo Bandele, this is a collection of songs culled from Wilson's ten-play dramatic cycle. Each character sings of how they either lost their song(identity) or rediscovered it.

Reasearch Tour – Memphis, Tennesse and Mississippi Delta Region
Performing Arts Ensembles participants will explore one of America's greatest musical treasures, the blues. A root music form that evolved out of African American work songs, field ballads and spirituals more than a century ago; the blues is the foundation of virtually every major America music form including jazz, rhythm and blues, rock and roll, and hip-hop.

Purdue Homecoming 2007
Celebrate Homecoming 2007 with the Purdue Black Alumni Organization Activities will include tailgating, dances, open "mic," and much more. The open mic will feature alumni members of the Haraka Writers presenting a diverse range of pieces including heartfelt love poetry, searing social commentary, uproarious comic routine, and bittersweet personal confession pieces.
