Sterling Plumpp

Plumpp has published twelve volumes of work including Velvet Be Bop Kente Cloth, Blues Narratives, and Black Rituals. Plumpp's blues narratives are poetic form and a dialogue between poet and subject, unlike anything else in American poetry – a vital passionate, haunting poetry meant to be read, spoken, and sung.
