Exhibition opening for "Mouride Muslims in South Africa" by Iris Dawn Parker. March 6-10. Based on life and work in Johannesburg-area community.

Iris Parker is a native of North Carolina residing in Johannesburg, South Africa. Her work as an artist, teacher and mentor explores issues of identity formation, gender, family and community. This is an exhibition of images documenting the daily life and practice of the Mouride Muslim Community in BEZ Valley, Johannesburg, South Africa.
