Here are some of the wonderful comments like these flooded our email boxes upon our return from Ireland!

Dear President Daniels,

I was hugely impressed with the magnificent marching band from Purdue. You can be justifiably proud of the 331 young people representing Purdue.

I hope that they will have very fond memories of their visit to Dublin for this year's Parade and that we will have the pleasure of a return visit in future years.

Brendan Henderson, Dublin

Just wanted to let you know that the Purdue “All-American” Marching Band was the best in the St Pat's Parade in Dublin! I traveled from Belfast to watch the parade and it was a great event, but the show that your guys put on was immense - I was towards the end of the route and they performed with great energy and style. It was superb. And the huge drum is pretty special too!

Please pass on my thanks to the entire team and students involved. They helped make a great day.

Andi Jarvis, Belfast

Wow! Was blown away by your “All-American” Marching Band’s performance in our St Patrick’s Day Parade here in Dublin. What a brilliant, brilliant show they put on for us. It was a wonderful spectacle, with so many different elements to their performance. We’ve never seen anything like them. Pity about our weather, but it was worth getting wet to watch them.

C. Brady, Dublin

I saw the band at the parade in Dublin. Please pass on my congratulations to all, I thought they were fantastic & they were my favorite participants. I hope to see them back in Dublin next year!

Congratulations on being the most "Outstanding" and largest performing band in Dublin on Sunday, March17th. Absolutely brilliant and the enjoyment of the band added to their spectacular performance even though I only saw them on TV.

Eddie, County Cork
