Meg Merdian, Purdue’s Girl in Black, needs your vote. A huge field of contestants in Twirl Magazine’s collegiate twirler photo contest has been narrowed down to 15 semifinalists and Merdian is one of them. Now it’s up to the public to select the winner.  Whoever gets the most votes gets their picture on the next cover of the magazine. Voting ends Saturday, Oct. 23.

Most of the semi-finalists are from southern schools ranging from Texas to Florida. Three other Big Ten universities are represented – Iowa, Michigan State and Penn State.
