When are music auditions?• Returning members audition March 29-April 9 • Incoming students should schedule an audition during a “Purdue’s for Me” visit (Mar 1, 8, 29; Apr.5) or during your required Summer Transition, Advising, and Registration program, also called STAR, in June. • Individual auditions can be scheduled at other times with permission of professor. Marching Band Winds Audition MaterialRequired audition music is available at purdue.edu/bands/audition. The files are password protected. • The entire week of band camp is part of the marching audition process. This year’s band camp begins on August 15, 2010. All students auditioning for marching band are required to attend band camp.

When are music and marching auditions?
• Music and marching auditions are held during band camp week, beginning Sunday, Aug. 15. Information packets including audition music and registrations materials will be mailed in June. • Golduster (dancer) and Golden Silks (flags/color guard) auditions, April 24, 2010 from 8:00am until 4:00pm in the IAF (Intercollegiate Athletic Facility) Contact Mandy Hampton ahampton@purdue.edu or Amanda King asking@purdue.edu for additional Golden Silks information. Two etudes are listed on each audition music sheet -please select ONE of the two top play. The files are password protected. Jazz Band and AMRE Auditions(Openings for Saxophone, Trombone, Trumpet and Rhythm Section-Drum Set, Percussion, Guitar, Piano and Bass and a select number of vocalists)
When are music auditions?• Returning members audition March 29-April 9. • Incoming freshmen and transfer students should schedule an audition during your required Summer Transition, Advising, and Registration program, also called STAR, in June. Audition appointments can also be made through Tuesday of Boiler Gold Rush(week prior to the start of classes in August). • Individual auditions can be scheduled at other times with permission of professor. When are music auditions?• Returning members audition March 29-April 9• Incoming students will report to Elliott Hall of Music during Boiler Gold Rush week(August 15-20-the week before classes officially begin) to schedule an audition. All new member auditions will take place that week. • Individual auditions can be scheduled at other times with permission of Professor King.
