Audition Music String players select their own audition repertoire. The audition should consist of one prepared selection involving contrasting styles (2-3 minutes in length). This could be a solo, etude, or excerpts from orchestra music. Students will play alone without accompaniment. Please, prepare two three-octave scales of your choice (basses can play 2 octave scales). There will be brief sight-reading.
